Grumman F-14 Tomcat model – build a movie legend of the skies in 1:48 scale!

The Grumman F-14 Tomcat is one of the most iconic fighter planes in the history of modern aviation. It symbolizes technological precision and unparalleled maneuverability. For decades, it has aroused admiration among both pilots and military enthusiasts.
In the movie Top Gun: Maverick, this powerful fighter belonged to the enemy’s armed forces. It was found at the airport and then taken over and hijacked by Maverick and Bradley ""Rooster"" Bradshaw. It was then that the F-14 showed its full capabilities in air combat with enemy machines!
Now you have the chance to build your own, realistic model of this iconic aircraft in the scale of 1:48 and new paint job – full of details, characteristic shapes and movie atmosphere.
Grab your blocks and soar with your imagination into the skies – in the style of Maverick himself!
A story that inspires!
The F-14 TOMCAT is a true icon of Cold War aviation. It entered service with the US Navy in 1972 and was officially withdrawn only in 2006. Designed by Grumman Corporation, this fighter first took to the air in 1970 and quickly became the basis for the defense of the US fleet’s aircraft carriers.
Its most characteristic feature is the variable-geometry wings, which allowed for maximum maneuverability and speed – regardless of the conditions. The F-14 performed both fighter and reconnaissance functions, and over time it was also adapted to strike missions.
Its legend was established in 1986, when it appeared in the cult film Top Gun – it was on board this aircraft that Maverick and Goose conquered the skies. In the second part of the movie hit, although American pilots sat at its controls, this plane no longer belonged to the American army. What’s more, it stood out with a unique paint job, completely different from the standard one – that’s why this model is a real treat for collectors and lovers of building with blocks and fans of the Top Gun franchise.
Officially licensed model!
This exclusive model was created with the utmost care and attention to every detail. Thanks to the official TOP GUN™ license, you can be sure that the model reflects the authentic look and character of the legendary F-14 TOMCAT from the sequel to the massively popular film.
The set contains 825 carefully designed elements that will allow you to recreate the movie fighter in 1:48 scale.
Why is it worth reaching for the Grumman F-14 Tomcat set:
• Official license – The product was created under the original TOP GUN™ license, which proves its authenticity, high quality and perfect reproduction.
• 869 elements – The number of blocks allows for the reproduction of the details of the plane, and the construction ensures satisfaction from construction, which makes the set ideal for modeling enthusiasts.
• Scale 1:48 – Accurate reproduction of details in the 1:48 scale allows for faithful reproduction of all the characteristic features of the fighter, from aerodynamic shapes to details of the cockpit interior.

• New painting – The model has a unique, new painting inspired by the film Top Gun: Maverick, making it an attractive novelty even for collectors who have earlier versions of the F-14.
• Movable wings with variable geometry – This is a key feature of the real F-14 and one of the most spectacular technical solutions in the history of aviation. In the model from COBI, the wings can be extended and folded – exactly like in the original – which allows for an effective presentation of the model.
• Retractable landing gear and rotating wheels – The landing gear can be retracted or unfolded at any time, thanks to which the model looks great both "in flight" and during "landing". The rotating wheels are an additional element of realism that increases the fun of playing and displaying the model.

• Detailed prints – Instead of stickers, durable, high-quality prints were used, which retain their quality for a long time. Thanks to them, the model looks almost identical to the machine from the movie Top Gun: Maverick. The colors and markings have been carefully reproduced based on the film original and the aircraft manufacturer’s data.
• Weapons under the wings – You will find a whole set of miniature weapons here, including rockets and missiles compatible with the equipment of the F-14. This is not just a construction detail – it is an element that adds the character of a combat machine to the model and allows for realistic staging of scenes from the movie.
• Two pilot figures – The set includes figures of two heroes, they are: Pete "Maverick" Mitchell and the son of his deceased partner, Bradley "Rooster" Bradshaw.

• Exclusive display stand with plaque – The set includes an elegant, block display stand with a decorative plaque with the name of the plane and the logo of the film. It is an ideal element of the collection or a stylish decoration of the room of a fan of aviation and cinema.
